Premier Royal Ace Hi-Fi Snare 14x5.5 Late 1950s Birch w/ Beech Re-Rings – Duroplast – Collector Grade
DESCRIPTION:
Late 1950s Premier Royal Ace “Hi-Fi” snare drum, 14x5.5. Birch shell with beech re-rings, giving it that classic bright, crisp response with good body and control. These Hi-Fi models are known for their sensitivity, and this one doesn’t disappoint—plenty of snap and articulation, but still warm enough to sit nicely in a mix.
Finished in the original Duroplast wrap (Ringo Stars Finish), which has aged well and still looks great. There are some light signs of use as you’d expect for its age, but overall it presents really cleanly.
All hardware is original, including the snare mechanism, which is working smoothly. Chrome is in very good shape with only minor age-related wear. Everything functions as it should.
A really nice, honest example from the late ‘50s—great for collectors or anyone after that proper vintage Premier sound.
